Orville Schell on the Upcoming Obama-Xi Presidential Summit in California | Asia Society Asia Society Blog

As Chinese President Xi Jinping and his American counterpart Barack Obama prepare for their "casual" summit June 7-8 at Sunnylands, the former Annenberg Estate in Rancho Mirage, California, we asked Orville Schell, director of Asia Society’s Center on U.S.-China Relations, why this particular meeting is so important and what we might expect to come out of it. "Over the past 10 years we haven’t really seen anything like this with president Hu Jintao."
